Downtown Saturday Nights

Brown County’s Chamber of Commerce will host Downtown Saturday Night, every Saturday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning March 31 and running through August 25.

The weekly event will alternate every 5 to 6 weeks between two locations: Village Green/Jefferson Street and Coachlight Square/Washington Street in Nashville.

The focus is on family activities with the anchor event being a Cruise-In for all types of classic or customized vehicles: cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc.

Over 100 area bands, entertainers and artists are expected to participate over the spring and summer. The event also will be a forum for local non-profits groups to hold fundraising events and demonstrations such as Habitat for Humanity, Brown County Community Foundation and Brown County Extension/4H.

Local sponsors for the event include Hills O’ Brown Realty, Town of Nashville, Barb’s Corner, and Chateau Thomas Winery. Wine tasting is planned for May 5 and June 9, coinciding with the Nashville Car Show at nearby Brown County High School on June 9, supporting BC Veterans.

Spaces for Cruise-In vehicles are complimentary but subject to availability, so owners may wish to reserve a space by emailing <coopdelc@aol.com> or calling the Brown County Chamber of Commerce at 812-988-6647.
